Philosophy
About Nitasha & Her Staff
It is said “Do what you love and love what you do.” That is the story of DuPont Threading.
Threading has been a family tradition passed from generation to generation in Nitasha’s family. She began to learn at an early age in India and she still considers it as much a hobby as she does a profession. Having moved to America with her husband and children, she began her threading career at a salon in Washington DC. As her reputation grew on account of the quality of her work, Nitasha earned a loyal client base and so began her business, DuPont Threading.
Many of Nitasha’s new clients are referred by her existing clients and on any given weekend, it’s not unusual to hear a client say, “I’d like Nitasha, I’ll wait.”
This is not to say that her staff, who she personally trains and mentors, are any less skilled in the art of threading however as practice makes perfect, Nitasha’s loyal customer base and her return walk-in clients are evidence of her skill and customer service satisfaction.
DuPont Threading has been featured in renowned beauty magazines like In Style (October 2009) and Washingtonian (July 2011) and her customer wall is filled with comments from happy customers.
